Bucktown is arguably the trendiest neighborhood in Chicago located in the eastern part of the Logan Square community. Bucktown is conveniently located off the highway, close to downtown, and boasts two Metra stations at Western and another one at Clybourn. This makes it great for public transportation no matter which part of Bucktown you live in. Bucktown has amazing restaurants, nightlife, and art studios which make it a great place to live. Bucktown does not have much for vacant land so if you want to build your dream home here, you will need to purchase a property with a house already on it.

The picture on the top of this page features a Kitchen Remodel for one of your Bucktown neighbors. Here we did a waterfall on the kitchen island with a very thick white quartz. This really gave a really unique and dramatic look to the island. We also installed a 48” wolf range and a Subzero fridge. We did two rows of wall cabinets and installed a large 4” by 12” white subway tile backsplash. And the picture immediately above this section shows a master bathroom remodel for this new construction home in Bucktown. We installed heated flooring in this bathroom with a beautiful white Carrera marble for the flooring and wall tiles. The large shower featured a frameless glass door, a quartz threshold and quartz bench, and a rainfall shower head. You will also appreciate the free-standing tub great for soaking away the stresses of any day.
In the pictures that follow, you will notice a basement we finished. Here we added a 6.1 surround sound system which sounded incredible when watching a game, listening to music, or watching an action movie. The sound in this room could be controlled through the iPad on the wall or an application on your phone. We also added a large wetbar and beverage fridge for entertaining. The photo below that shows another bathroom remodeling project we completed in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago. We installed heated marble flooring and tiled the walls with 3” by 12” glazed tiles in the subway pattern. The one row of gray tiles on the wall gave a really nice look which also tied into the countertop.
In this next picture you will find the owners of 1 Builders, Juan Inglis and Joshua Inglis, giving a presentation about home building at this Bucktown new construction home they built on the roof top deck. You can see the skyline of downtown Chicago in the background with views of the Hancock Tower, the Sears tower (now Willis tower), and other iconic Chicago skyscrapers. The roof top deck was added to this home so that the downtown Chicago views could really be enjoyed.
